The campaign "Youth on the move" started a new slogan: Doing More, Doing Better, Reaching Further. So we need not only more work to achieve the MDGs but also a better quality of community service and we need to come closer to vulnerables.
That's why, the Tunisian Red Crescent had started a new training process called "Young Leaders for positive change". It's not just a training about leadership but also a life experience lasting about a year during what participants can practice and improve their skills and learn by doing community work. They would learn how to make sustainable work with less funds but better visibility.
The October session had started the 10th of October 2010 and will last 4 other weeks before getting to field work for a year. twenty four young volunteers selected from the most vulnerable regions are in this process. The first impression seems to be good as you can see in the facebook page of the project (Jeunes Leaders pour le Changement Positif).
